These 8th grade sweethearts and dear friends are getting married! I am so excited and honored to be a part of their day in so many ways. Their love story is one of my all-time favorites. Take a seat, it’s a wild ride.
Mackenzie and Hayden met in 8th grade German class. That year they went on a field trip to German Village and ate lunch on the infamous bridge (later the location where Hayden proposed). They intentionally took 5 years of German, just so that they could go to class together. Nothing sweeter than a first date at Rita’s, a memorable spot where we got to take some photos. They went on to both be the Presidents of brother/sister sororities at Otterbein University. Choosing locations that had meaning to them was important for their engagement shoot…we strolled the beautiful streets of Westerville, wandered onto Otterbein’s campus, made a pit-stop at Rita’s for a sweet treat, and ended the evening in German Village where it all began!
These intentional friends get married so soon, can’t wait to stand by their side and cheer them on in this season and next!
